PharmAware
Aims are: To train medical students to professionally and ethically interact with drug companies and to empower members to educate others, including fellow students and physicians about evidence-based medicine and ethical prescription practices
They run campaigns including a UK campaign to improve interactions with pharmaceutical companies in the UK, an education campaign which aims to increase and improve critical appraisal and evidence based medicine at the same time as education about the interactions of the pharmaceutical industry as well as an international campaign that works alongside stopAIDS. We are always looking for people that want to get involved.

Stop AIDS
Aim: We aim to increase awareness on campus and in surrounding areas about the problems of HIV/AIDS both internationally and locally. WE campaign for access to treatment for all and lobby the government to fulfill its promise to the global fund. We teach sex education in association with Sexpression in local schools and fundraise for local and overseas AIDS charities. We are a small but fun society - get involved!
